Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
Your Rock Paris Suitcase arrives ready for use.
- Handle: Extend the telescopic handle by pressing the button located on top of the handle grip and pulling upwards. Adjust to your desired height.
- TSA Lock: The lock is usually set to '0-0-0' from the factory. Instructions for setting your personal combination are typically found on a tag attached to the lock or inside the suitcase. Follow these steps carefully to secure your belongings.
Compatibility
This large suitcase is primarily compatible with checked baggage requirements for most airlines due to its dimensions (81H x 47W x 31D cm). It is not designed to fit standard airline carry-on size restrictions. It's suitable for:
- Long-haul flights
- Extended vacations (e.g., 10+ days)
- Family travel where shared luggage is common
- Business trips requiring extensive wardrobe options
Care & Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your Rock Paris Suitcase, follow these care guidelines:
- Cleaning the Exterior: The 100% polyester fabric can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For tougher stains, a soft brush can be used gently.
- Wheels: Periodically check the wheels for any accumulated debris (hair, string, dirt) and remove it. If the wheels become stiff, a small amount of silicone lubricant spray can improve their performance. Avoid submerging the wheels in water.
- Zippers: Keep zippers clean and free of obstructions. If they become stiff, a silicone-based zipper lubricant or even a graphite pencil can help them slide more smoothly.
- Handle: Ensure the telescopic handle mechanism is kept clean. Avoid forcing the handle if it feels stuck; check for obstructions.
- Storage: Store the suitcase in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use to prevent fading and material degradation.
