Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Converse trainers last, follow these maintenance tips:
- Breaking-In: Wear them for short durations indoors initially to allow the leather to soften to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather upper with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could corrode the metal studs.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent leather fading or cracking.
- Stud Maintenance: If the studs become dusty, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove debris from the crevices.
- Lacing: Adjust the laces to your preferred tension once, then use the high-top construction for a secure fit; you may not need to untie them completely for every use.
