Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maximize the life of your Clifton 11 trainers, ensure they are laced securely but not overly tight to allow for natural foot swelling during runs. These trainers are compatible with standard neutral-gait running habits and can be worn with most standard orthotic inserts if necessary. For care, avoid putting them in the washing machine, as the heat and agitation can break down the adhesives and foam. Instead, clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. If the shoes get soaked, remove the insoles and stuff the interior with newspaper to draw out moisture in a cool, dry area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the cushioning material.
