The ASICS Novablast 5 trainers are designed for adult runners seeking a highly responsive and energetic experience during daily training sessions. These trainers excel at providing a lightweight, bouncy ride thanks to advanced foam technology, making them an excellent choice for neutral runners; however, users desiring extreme stability for overpronation might find the soft cushioning profile less supportive than traditional motion-control shoes.

Yes, the cushioning and lightweight design of the Novablast 5 are well-suited for high-mileage training blocks.
These are primarily designed for road use. While they handle light, smooth paths well, they lack the lug depth and protective plates required for technical trail running.
ASICS trainers generally follow standard sizing. Ensure there is about a thumbnail's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe.
No, machine washing can damage the adhesive and the structural integrity of the foam. Spot clean only.
Generally, performance foams start to lose their optimal energy return between 300 and 500 miles, depending on the runner's weight and the running surface.
The Novablast 5 features a tongue wing system, but if sliding persists, ensure you are utilizing the top eyelet for a 'runner's loop' lacing technique to secure the midfoot.
Ensure the shoe is tied securely and that you are using the correct size; if instability persists, the high-stack height of this model may not be compatible with your specific gait mechanics.
To ensure your ASICS Novablast 5 trainers last through your training cycle, perform a secure lacing loop to lock in the heel. Because of the mesh construction, these shoes are best kept clean by gently wiping them with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid machine washing or drying, which can compromise the foam integrity. If the shoes become soaked after a run in the rain, remove the sockliner and stuff the interior with newspaper to draw out moisture in a cool, ventilated area away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
