While they offer excellent support and waterproofing for these activities, for strenuous mountaineering or extremely rugged, rocky terrain, a more specialized, stiffer hiking boot might be more appropriate.

For the suede and textile upper, gently brush off loose dirt. For stubborn marks, use a damp cloth and, if necessary, a specialized suede/fabric footwear cleaner. Avoid submerging the shoes in water. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat.

While many users find them comfortable from the start, a short break-in period is often recommended for any new walking shoe. Wear them on shorter walks before attempting longer excursions to ensure optimal comfort and fit for your feet.
