The Pegdev Windbreaker Shade Netting is designed for individuals and businesses needing effective outdoor shading and wind protection. Its primary benefit is providing durable, UV-stabilized polyethylene mesh for various applications, from sports fields to greenhouses, offering shade, wind reduction, and reduced heat loss. A potential caveat is its mesh construction, which, while allowing airflow, may not offer complete blockage of very fine dust or debris.

It is manufactured from UV-stabilised polyethylene monofilaments, a high-density polyethylene designed for durability and outdoor use.
The netting provides shade value and reduces direct sunlight, but its open mesh design allows some light to pass through. It is designed for shade and wind reduction, not complete blackout.
By reducing heat loss during cooler periods, it helps maintain a more stable temperature within the greenhouse, potentially lowering the need for artificial heating.
It is ideal for sports fields, tennis courts, dog fields, music events, greenhouses, polytunnels, crop protection, livestock shade, and general outdoor barriers.
No, the open mesh design allows for airflow and is not designed to be waterproof.
Clean with water and a mild detergent using a soft cloth or brush. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely.
UV-stabilised means the material has been treated to resist degradation from prolonged exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun, extending its lifespan outdoors.
Ensure all fastening points are securely attached and consider adding more anchor points. Re-tension the netting and re-secure.
Verify the netting is installed correctly to block the prevailing wind direction. Ensure there are no large gaps or loose sections where wind can penetrate.
If edges are fraying, carefully trim any loose threads and consider reinforcing the edges with tape or stitching if possible, though this is uncommon with proper installation.
Check for debris or dirt buildup on the mesh. Clean the netting gently with water and a mild soap, rinsing thoroughly.
Setup typically involves securing the netting tautly using appropriate fasteners such as grommets, ties, or clamps to poles, fences, or existing structures. Ensure it is well-anchored to withstand wind. The netting is compatible with most standard outdoor installation systems. For care, regularly inspect the netting for any signs of wear or damage. Clean the netting periodically with water and a mild detergent if necessary; avoid abrasive cleaners. Allow it to dry completely before re-securing. Store in a dry place when not in use for extended periods to prolong its lifespan.
