Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because the Nehiala uses a water-repellent finish, it is essential to maintain the fabric properties over time. To clean the jacket, always follow the garment's internal care label. Generally, it is best to machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle using a non-biological detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the water-repellent treatment from the outer shell. To restore the water-beading performance after washing, you may need to apply a specialized DWR (Durable Water Repellent) re-proofing spray. Always air dry the jacket away from direct heat sources to maintain the loft of the synthetic insulation.
