The New Balance 9060 trainers for kids are designed for active children who need a blend of Y2K-inspired futuristic style and modern comfort. These trainers reinterpret the classic 99X series with advanced cushioning technology, making them an excellent choice for daily wear and school activities, though the complex, sculpted midsole may be more prone to scuffing on rough terrain.

While they are comfortable and feature advanced cushioning, they are lifestyle trainers designed for daily wear rather than dedicated athletic performance running.
Yes, they generally follow standard New Balance sizing, but it is always best to measure your child's foot using a Brannock device or size chart.
Use a specialized suede brush to remove dirt. Avoid getting the suede overly wet to prevent staining or discoloration.
Most New Balance lifestyle trainers feature rubber outsoles that are suitable for indoor gym floors, though you should check the bottom for any embedded debris before heading indoors.
The 9060 uses a traditional lace-up closure. If your child struggles with laces, you may consider swapping them for elasticated no-tie laces.
Use a double knot or replace with slightly longer laces if the current ones are too short for a secure hold.
Use a magic eraser or a damp cloth with mild soap to gently buff out marks on the sculpted rubber sections.
For the best fit, ensure the laces are adjusted to accommodate the child's foot width without over-tightening. As these trainers often utilize suede or mixed materials, spot cleaning with a soft brush or a mild detergent is recommended to maintain the texture of the upper. Avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat can compromise the structural integrity of the sculpted midsole and the integrity of the adhesive bonds.
