The HOKA Bondi 9 is designed for runners and walkers seeking maximum cushioning and comfort for everyday training. This model offers an exceptionally soft and resilient ride thanks to its overhauled premium foam midsole and increased stack height, though its substantial build may feel less responsive for those who prefer lightweight, minimalist racing shoes.

The Bondi 9 is built for cushioning and endurance rather than speed. It is best suited for easy, long, or recovery miles.
Standard widths (D) fit most feet, but if you feel pressure on the sides of your feet, look for EE or EEEE wide options to ensure proper comfort.
The Bondi 9 is optimized for road and hard surfaces. While it can handle light gravel paths, it lacks the aggressive lugs required for technical trails.
Generally, running shoes should be replaced every 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running surface and biomechanics.
The knit upper is designed for breathability. It is not water-resistant, so it is best to avoid running through deep puddles or heavy rain.
Utilize the 'runner's loop' lacing technique to better secure the heel within the 3D molded collar.
Adjust the laces to be looser near the forefoot or consider a wider width variant if available.
Ensure you verify your specific size as the Bondi 9 comes in various width options to accommodate different foot volumes. To maintain the integrity of the premium foam midsole, avoid exposing the shoes to extreme heat, such as leaving them in a parked car on a sunny day. When cleaning, remove loose dirt with a soft brush and use a damp cloth with mild soap; do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can degrade the foam and structural adhesives. Air dry the shoes away from direct sunlight.
