Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Ensure the boots are tried on with the hosiery you intend to wear regularly, as this will influence the fit against the suede upper. If you use custom orthotics, remove the existing Hotter insoles before inserting your own to ensure sufficient volume inside the boot.
Care Instructions:
- Protective Spray: Apply a suede-specific water and stain repellent spray before the first use.
- Routine Cleaning: Use a soft suede brush to gently remove surface dust and restore the nap of the material.
- Stain Removal: Use a specialized suede eraser for minor scuffs. Avoid water-based cleaning agents that may cause discolouration.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the suede from fading. Use boot trees to help the boots maintain their shape when not in use.
