Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, and loose paint.
- Cut the nozzle tip to the desired bead size.
- Puncture the inner seal of the cartridge.
- Load the cartridge into a standard sealant gun.
- Apply a continuous bead of sealant, holding the gun at a consistent angle.
- Smooth the bead immediately with a damp cloth or smoothing tool for a neat finish.
Compatibility:
This sealant adheres to painted and unpainted wood, plaster, glass, aluminum, masonry, tile, brick, metal, and concrete.
Care:
- Cleaning Tools: Clean up uncured sealant with soap and water.
- Cured Sealant: Remove cured sealant by mechanical means (e.g., scraping) or using appropriate solvents as per manufacturer recommendations.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
