FAQs
Is a mattress included with the Denver Divan Base?
No, the Denver Divan is a bed base and headboard set; you will need to purchase a mattress separately.
Can I assemble this base by myself?
While the pre-fitted clips make assembly straightforward, we recommend two people for safely positioning the base, especially for larger sizes.
Are the drawers on both sides of the base?
The configuration depends on the specific variant; please verify the product specifications for the drawer placement of your selected model.
How do I clean the upholstery?
Use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment for regular maintenance. For stains, gently dab with a clean, damp cloth using mild soap if necessary.
Where is this divan base manufactured?
The Comfort Denver Divan Base is handcrafted in the United Kingdom.
Will the chrome gliders scratch wood floors?
The gliders are designed to be floor-friendly, but we always recommend placing a rug or protective pad underneath if you are concerned about high-finish wooden floors.
Troubleshooting
Drawer does not close smoothly
Check the metal runners for any obstructions or debris and ensure the base is sitting level on the floor.
Base feels unstable or rocks
Verify that your floor is level and adjust the position of the chrome gliders to ensure all contact points meet the floor evenly.
Headboard wobbles
Tighten the bolts securing the strutted headboard to the base clips to eliminate movement.

- Professional UK craftsmanship

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To assemble your Comfort Denver Divan, identify the pre-fitted metal clips on the base sections and align them securely. Ensure the base is placed on a level surface to maintain the integrity of the drawers and the platform top. For daily care, use a soft vacuum attachment to clean the upholstery, and spot-clean any spills immediately with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Periodically check the metal runners on the drawers to ensure they remain clear of debris to maintain their smooth gliding action. This base is compatible with most standard UK-sized mattresses.
