FAQs

Who are the Callaway Quantum Max OS Irons best suited for?

These irons are ideal for adult male golfers seeking enhanced forgiveness, easier launch, and consistent distance. They are particularly beneficial for game-improvement players who want to improve their ball striking and overall scoring.

What makes the face technology unique?

The irons feature a Next-Generation AI-Optimised Face developed using real-world impact data. This promotes faster ball speeds with more consistent launch, spin, and dispersion by expanding the effective hitting area.

How does the Tri-Sole design improve performance?

The Progressive Tri-Sole Design supports cleaner turf interaction and improved consistency throughout the set. Its reworked sole geometry helps retain speed and launch while reducing the impact of heavy contact.

Will these irons feel harsh due to their technology?

No, Urethane Microspheres are integrated into the clubhead to absorb unwanted vibration at impact, delivering a softer, forged-like sensation while maintaining speed and forgiveness.

What are the available shaft options?

Shaft options include True Temper Denali Frost Silver 60 (Regular flex), True Temper Denali Frost Silver 70 (Stiff flex), and Mitsubishi Chemical Vanquish 50 (R2 flex).

Are these irons available for left-handed golfers?

Yes, the 4-iron through PW are available for left-handed golfers.

How do I clean my Quantum Max OS Irons?

After each use, wipe the clubface and sole with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a soft towel. Use a soft brush for grooves if needed.

Troubleshooting

Reduced distance or ball speed

Ensure you are making solid contact with the clubface. Check for any debris in the grooves. Verify you are using the correct shaft flex for your swing speed. Make sure the club face is clean and dry.

Inconsistent ball flight

Focus on consistent swing mechanics. The AI-Optimised Face is designed for consistency, but swing consistency is key. Ensure the club is interacting well with the turf by focusing on the Tri-Sole design's benefit.

Unusual vibration or feel at impact

The urethane microspheres are designed to enhance feel. If the feel is unexpected, it may take time to adjust. Ensure the club is not damaged. Solid contact is still the primary factor for feel.

Difficulty with turf interaction (digging)

Focus on the swing path and allowing the Progressive Tri-Sole to do its work. Practice on the range with varied lies to get a feel for how the sole interacts with the ground. Avoid excessive downward force on the downswing.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup: These irons are ready to play out of the box. Ensure you select the correct club for the distance you intend to hit. Shaft flex options (Regular, Stiff, R2) are available to match your swing speed for optimal performance. Grip size (Standard .580") is designed to fit most adult golfers.

Compatibility: The Callaway Quantum Max OS Irons are designed for male golfers of adult age. They are compatible with standard golf course conditions and rules. Shafts are available in graphite options.

Care: To maintain the performance and longevity of your irons:

  1. Cleaning: After each round, wipe the clubface and sole with a damp cloth to remove dirt and grass. Use a soft brush for grooves if necessary.
  2. Drying: Thoroughly dry the clubs with a soft towel to prevent rust or corrosion, especially on the steel components.
  3. Storage: Store your clubs in a cool, dry place, preferably in a golf bag with individual club dividers to prevent scratching and damage.
  4. Inspection: Periodically check the shafts for any signs of damage and the grips for wear. Replace grips when they become slick or worn to maintain control.
