Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Terrex shoes, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in period: Wear the shoes for short periods on flat terrain before taking them on long-distance mountain hikes.
- Cleaning: Remove excess mud with a soft brush after every trip. Avoid machine washing, which can damage the GORE-TEX membrane.
- Drying: Air dry naturally at room temperature. Never place shoes near direct heat sources like radiators, as this can cause the rubber and adhesives to degrade.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the synthetic materials.
