The Regatta Brielly Waterproof Jacket is an essential outer layer for adult hikers and outdoor enthusiasts who need reliable protection against unpredictable weather. It offers the perfect balance of waterproof performance and breathability, ensuring you stay dry and comfortable during active movement. While it excels in wet conditions, users should note that as a lightweight layer, it is best utilized as part of a versatile layering system rather than a standalone insulator for extreme cold.

Yes, the waterproof construction also serves as an effective barrier against wind.
We recommend air drying. If you must use a dryer, use the lowest heat setting, but air drying is best for fabric longevity.
The Brielly is a waterproof shell. It is not insulated, so it should be worn over a thermal mid-layer in winter.
It is constructed from high-quality, durable polyester.
No, the hood is fixed but fully adjustable for a secure fit.
Wash in a machine on a cool, gentle cycle with a specialized tech wash, then hang to dry.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating may need refreshing. Reapply a spray-on waterproofing treatment specifically made for polyester jackets.
This is likely caused by condensation rather than a leak. Ensure you are layering appropriately with moisture-wicking base layers to improve overall breathability.
To ensure the longevity of your Regatta Brielly, always fasten all zippers and close the hood toggles before washing. Machine wash on a gentle cycle using a technical cleaner designed for waterproof garments; avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the water-repellent finish. The jacket is designed to be worn over a base layer or a light fleece, making it highly compatible with standard outdoor layering systems. Always hang the jacket to air dry in a well-ventilated area, away from direct heat sources like radiators to preserve the structural integrity of the polyester.
