Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These are stockingfoot waders, meaning they require separate wading boots. Ensure your wading boots fit snugly over the neoprene feet for optimal support and comfort. The gravel guards should be secured over the top of your boots.
Compatibility: Compatible with any sturdy wading boots that can accommodate the stockingfoot design. The accessory loops can be used with various fishing tools like forceps, zingers, or landing net clips.
Care:
- Rinse after use: Always rinse the waders with fresh, cold water after each use, especially after exposure to saltwater or chlorinated water.
- Clean the zip: Periodically clean the Ti Zip® Masterseal-10 with fresh water and a soft brush to remove any silt or debris. Apply a silicone-based lubricant specifically designed for zippers to ensure smooth operation.
- Drying: Hang the waders to dry completely, preferably indoors and out of direct sunlight. Avoid using high heat, as it can damage the fabric and coatings.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding them tightly in a way that creases the main zip excessively. Hanging is ideal.
- Washing: If washing is necessary, use a gentle machine wash cycle with cool water and a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach. Always rinse thoroughly and air dry.
