Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These are stockingfoot waders, meaning they have integrated neoprene socks. To use them, you will need a pair of compatible wading boots. Ensure the boots are designed to accommodate the stocking feet and provide a secure fit without pinching or excessive looseness. Lace up your wading boots securely before entering the water.
Compatibility: The Vision Koski Grey Stockingfoot Waders are designed to work with most wading boots. The stocking feet are typically sized to fit comfortably within standard wading boot sizes. Always check the sizing guide provided by Vision for the best fit.
Care: To maintain the performance and longevity of your waders:
- Rinse: After each use, rinse the waders thoroughly with clean, cool water, especially after saltwater or heavily soiled use.
- Clean: If necessary, wash with a mild, non-detergent soap. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or fabric softeners, as these can damage the fabric and the DWR coating.
- Dry: Always air dry the waders completely, both inside and out, before storing them. Hang them from the feet or use a wader hanger. Avoid direct sunlight or high heat, which can degrade the fabric and coating.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Avoid folding them tightly for long periods; hanging is preferred.
