Check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth. Gently try to free the fabric. If the zipper is sticky, you can lubricate it with a graphite pencil or a bit of wax, applying it carefully to the teeth.

Ensure the strategic ventilation points are not obstructed. If layering, make sure your inner layers are also breathable. Extreme humidity can also affect perceived breathability.
