FAQs

Who are the Callaway Quantum Max OS Irons designed for?

These irons are designed for adult golfers, particularly those who are game-improvement oriented. They are ideal for players seeking more forgiveness, easier launch, and consistent distances.

What is the key benefit of the oversized shape?

The oversized, confidence-inspiring shape is designed to promote higher launch and maximum forgiveness, making it easier to achieve solid contact and longer, straighter shots.

How do the Urethane Microspheres improve feel?

Urethane Microspheres are integrated into the clubhead to absorb unwanted vibrations at impact, resulting in a softer, more pleasing sound and feel, similar to forged irons.

What are the available shaft options?

The irons are available with True Temper Denali Frost Silver 60 (Regular), True Temper Denali Frost Silver 70 (Stiff), and Mitsubishi Chemical Vanquish 50 (R2) shafts.

Does the Progressive Tri-Sole Design affect turf interaction?

Yes, the progressive tri-sole design features reworked sole geometry that progresses from long irons to wedges, promoting cleaner turf interaction and improving consistency, especially reducing the impact of heavy contact.

Are these irons suitable for low-handicap golfers?

While highly forgiving, these irons are primarily designed for game-improvement. Advanced players seeking maximum shot-shaping control and feedback might prefer a different model.

How is the Ai-Optimised Face beneficial?

The Next-Generation Ai-Optimised Face, developed with impact data, promotes faster ball speeds and more consistent launch, spin, and dispersion across a wider area of the clubface, leading to straighter shots.

Troubleshooting

Clubhead feels loose

This may indicate a manufacturing defect. Contact the retailer or Callaway customer support for inspection and potential warranty service.

Reduced ball speed or distance

Ensure the clubface is clean and free of debris. Check for any visible damage to the clubhead or shaft. Consider if your swing tempo or contact quality has changed.

Unusual sound at impact

The urethane microspheres are designed to dampen vibration. If the sound is jarring or inconsistent, ensure the clubface is clean. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup: These irons are ready to use out of the box. Ensure you have the correct configuration (e.g., shaft flex, grip type) as per your selection. They are designed for adult golfers of any skill level seeking game improvement.

Compatibility: The Callaway Quantum Max OS Irons are available with True Temper Denali Frost Silver 60 (Regular flex), True Temper Denali Frost Silver 70 (Stiff flex) shafts, and Mitsubishi Chemical Vanquish 50 (R2 flex) shafts. Grips are typically Lamkin Crossline 360 Standard. Ensure your chosen configuration matches your swing characteristics.

Care: To maintain performance, regularly clean the clubfaces after each use with a soft cloth and water to remove dirt and grass. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the club finish. Store your irons in a protective golf bag to prevent scratches and dents.
