Twin and Earth Cable available in different sizes in various lengths for Twin & Earth Electrical Cable. This is the most common cable used for domestic wiring. It has met all industry and governmental safety guidelines and standards, including BS 6004:2012. The cable is BASEC Approved, UKAS Certified, and CE Marked. The Pitacs brand is an industry leader. Each cable is available in various predefined lengths. The cable construction features individually insulated live and neutral wires with a bare earth wire. The live and neutral wires are insulated in blue/brown coloured PVC, and the overall bundle is encased in a grey PVC outer casing. Cables 1.0mm, 1.5mm & 2.5mm have a solid cable construction, while cables above 4.0mm use stranded copper conductive wires. Common uses for 2.5mm Twin & Earth include ring main sockets, radial sockets, immersion heaters, boilers, and plugs. The 100m length comes on a full reel, lengths over 50m are likely supplied on a roll, and smaller lengths are supplied hand-rolled and loose. This cable is suitable for indoor use only.
