Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because these are natural leather products, they do not require 'setup' but do require initial care to preserve their appearance.
- Break-in: Wear them for short durations indoors initially to allow the leather to flex naturally to your gait.
- Leather Maintenance: Regularly apply a high-quality leather conditioner to the calfskin upper to prevent cracking and keep the black finish vibrant.
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather with a soft, dry cloth after use. For the rubber sole, use a damp brush to remove debris trapped in the ripple treads.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources. Use cedar shoe trees when not wearing to help maintain the structural shape and absorb excess moisture.
