Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Kaiya boots maintain their quality and longevity, follow these care guidelines:
- Initial Break-in: Wear the boots around the house for short periods during the first few days to allow the leather to soften to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Wipe away dirt or salt residue using a soft, damp cloth after each use. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Conditioning: Apply a leather-specific conditioner every few months to prevent the leather from drying out or cracking.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources, which can warp or damage the leather.
- Sizing: These boots generally run true to size; however, if you plan to wear thick wool socks for extra warmth, consider checking your fit before long walks.
