Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The capping rail is designed for installation on top of wall cabinets. While it features a quick-build design for associated cabinets, the capping rail itself will require standard woodworking tools and techniques for attachment. Ensure cabinets are level and securely mounted before proceeding. Measure and cut the capping rail to size if necessary, using appropriate safety precautions. Secure the rail to the top edge of the wall cabinets using suitable fixings (not supplied, sold separately).
Compatibility: This capping rail is specifically designed to complement Kitchen Kit cabinets. It is available in finishes to match various Kitchen Kit ranges, including Slab, Shaker, and J-Pull styles. While it can be cut to size, its aesthetic integration is best achieved with Kitchen Kit cabinetry. Ensure the dimensions and style are suitable for your specific cabinet configuration.
Care: Clean the capping rail with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the Matt Light Grey finish. For stubborn marks, a mild detergent solution can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth and drying thoroughly.
