Wolfenstein: The New Order is a first-person shooter video game developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the seventh main installment in the Wolfenstein series and a reboot of the franchise. The game is set in an alternate history 1945 where the Nazis have won World War II. Players take on the role of William "B.J." Blazkowicz, a U.S. Army Ranger who must infiltrate Nazi-controlled Europe and spark a resistance movement.
