FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for high-impact running?

These trainers are designed for casual outings, walking, and commuting, rather than high-impact running sports.

Can I remove the insoles to use my own orthotics?

The insoles are designed to work in tandem with the Vio Motion Technology; removing them may alter the intended support profile.

How do I clean the green suede?

Use a dry, soft brush to remove dirt. For stubborn spots, use a dedicated suede cleaner and avoid submerging the shoes in water.

What is the heel-to-toe drop?

These shoes feature a 7mm heel-to-toe drop, providing a comfortable elevation that supports natural alignment.

Are they wide enough for all foot shapes?

The lace-up design allows for some adjustability in width, but they are built on a standard width last.

Troubleshooting

Feeling discomfort during the first wear

Vionic shoes often require a short break-in period of a few days for your feet to adjust to the orthotic arch support.

Suede material looking worn or dusty

Use a soft-bristled suede brush to gently restore the nap of the fabric.

Laces coming untied frequently

Ensure a double knot is tied, or replace with laces that have more texture for better grip.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent orthotic-level arch support
Lightweight design suitable for all-day wear
Stylish, versatile aesthetic for casual outfits
Stable heel cup prevents excessive shifting
Shock-absorbing technology reduces impact on joints

Cons

Suede material is sensitive to moisture and stains
Limited availability in non-suede options
Requires a break-in period for maximum comfort

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best fit, adjust the lace-up closure so the shoe sits snugly across the midfoot without restricting blood flow. These trainers are standard UK size 9 and fit true to size. To maintain the quality of the suede upper, avoid wearing them in heavy rain or muddy conditions. Use a specialized suede brush to remove surface dust regularly, and apply a water-repellent spray designed for suede to add a protective layer. If the insoles become compressed after extended use, ensure they remain clean and dry to preserve their structural integrity.
