The jacket is made of cotton and provides protection against wind and light conditions, but it is not explicitly labeled as waterproof.
Yes, it is designed for year-round use and includes internal insulation, though you may need to layer underneath during severe sub-zero temperatures.
It is machine washable; always turn it inside out, close all zippers, and use a gentle, cold water cycle.
Yes, the integrated drawstrings at the waist allow you to cinch the jacket for a more tailored, fitted appearance.
The cotton material is pre-washed during manufacturing to create a softer feel and a slightly weathered, vintage aesthetic right out of the box.
Ensure no internal fabric or drawstring is caught in the zipper teeth and apply a small amount of clear candle wax to the tracks.
Check for lint or debris caught in the hooks of the Velcro and clean with a fine-toothed comb or brush.
To keep your Brandit Bronx jacket in top condition, ensure you follow the care guidelines closely. The jacket is machine washable, but it is recommended to use a gentle cycle with mild detergent to protect the internal polyester lining. Always close all zippers and Velcro fasteners before washing to prevent snagging or distortion. When drying, air drying is preferred to prevent the cotton fabric from shrinking. For fit compatibility, note that this model has a distinct, boxy cut; if you prefer a slimmer look, you may want to measure your torso width against the provided dimensions to ensure the waist drawstrings can achieve your desired level of taper.
