Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Upon receiving the bike, it will require some final assembly. This typically includes attaching the handlebars, front wheel, pedals, and seatpost. It is highly recommended to have the bike assembled and tuned by a qualified bicycle mechanic to ensure safety and optimal performance. Ensure all bolts are tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.
Compatibility: The bike is designed to accommodate standard accessories such as water bottle cages, lights, and fenders. Check for compatibility with specific racks if intending to carry significant loads. Tire clearance is suitable for the included 700x40c tires, with potential for slightly wider tires if desired, though consult a dealer for specific recommendations.
Care: Keep the bike clean by regularly wiping down the frame and components with a damp cloth. Pay attention to cleaning the drivetrain (chain, gears) to maintain smooth shifting. Regularly check tire pressure and brake pad wear. For long-term maintenance, periodic lubrication of the chain and a professional tune-up are advised, especially after significant use or exposure to wet conditions.
