Urth Lens Filter - 55mm CPL + ND64

A CPL filter reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass, and also enhances color saturation and contrast, particularly in skies and foliage.

ND stands for Neutral Density. ND64 means the filter reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 6 f-stops (equivalent to reducing light by a factor of 64 times), allowing for slower shutter speeds.

This filter is specifically for 55mm lenses. You can use compatible step-up or step-down adapter rings to fit lenses with different thread sizes.

Use a soft lens brush for dust. For smudges, use a clean microfiber lens cloth. A lens cleaning solution can be applied sparingly to the cloth if needed.

While ND filters reduce the light entering the lens, modern autofocus systems are generally capable of compensating, especially in good light. In very low light, autofocus might be slower.

The nano-coating enhances light transmission, reduces reflections, and makes the filter easier to clean, contributing to clearer, sharper images.

The ultra-slim rim minimizes the chance of the filter housing appearing in the corners of your photos (vignetting), especially when using wider-angle lenses.

Ensure you are not stacking too many filters and that the ultra-slim rim design is properly accommodating your lens. Check if a step-up ring is adding extra thickness. Try shooting at a slightly narrower aperture.

While the filter is designed for clarity, very slight color casts can occur. Adjust white balance in post-processing. Ensure the filter is clean.

Ensure you are aligning the threads correctly. If stuck, try gently tapping the edge of the filter with your knuckle while unscrewing. Avoid forcing it.

Ensure the filter is clean and free from smudges. Verify that the filter is securely attached and not loose. The high-quality SCHOTT glass minimizes sharpness loss.
