Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your camera lens has a 43mm filter thread. Check the lens barrel or specifications for the correct size.
- Gently screw the Urth ND64-1000 filter onto the front of the lens clockwise until snug. Do not overtighten.
- Rotate the outer ring of the filter to adjust the neutral density from 6 to 10 f-stops. Observe your camera's live view or meter to confirm correct exposure.
Compatibility:
This filter is specifically designed for camera lenses with a 43mm filter thread. It is compatible with most camera systems, including DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, provided the lens has the matching thread size.
Care:
- Clean the filter glass only when necessary to avoid damaging the coatings.
- Use a soft lens brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris.
- For smudges or fingerprints, use a lens cleaning solution with a microfiber cloth. Wipe gently in a circular motion from the center outwards.
- Store the filter in its protective case when not in use to prevent scratches and damage.
