No, you should never machine wash the Stetson Kent Flat Cap as the wool and cashmere blend will likely shrink or lose its shape.
The ear flaps are designed to be folded discreetly inside the hat, keeping the exterior look clean and classic when they are not deployed.
Yes, thanks to the wool-cashmere blend and the integrated ear warmers, it is specifically designed for high-performance warmth in winter conditions.
The cap is crafted from a high-quality wool blend that includes cashmere for added softness and insulation.
Store it in a breathable garment bag or a hat box in a cool, dark area to prevent moth damage and fabric fading.
You can insert a foam hat sizing strip behind the internal grosgrain sweatband for a tighter, more secure fit.
Use a soft-bristled garment brush and stroke gently in the direction of the fabric grain to clear away debris.
This cap is ready to wear straight out of the box. Because of the premium wool and cashmere fibers, avoid heavy rain or snow exposure where possible; if the cap becomes wet, let it air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can shrink or distort the wool. For long-term care, lightly brush the exterior with a soft-bristled hat brush to remove dust and maintain the nap of the fabric. Store in a cool, dry place and consider using a hat box or a dedicated rack to prevent the brim from losing its shape.
