This Alan Symonds Velvet Chenille Door Curtain in Grey is designed for homeowners seeking to enhance both the comfort and aesthetic appeal of their living spaces. Its primary benefit is providing excellent thermal insulation, acoustic dampening, and blackout capabilities, leading to a cozier home environment and potential energy savings. A key consideration is that while the curtain offers these benefits, matching draught excluders are sold separately and may be necessary for optimal performance. This curtain blends luxurious texture with practical functionality, featuring a soft velvet chenille face, fleece interlining, and poly cotton lining.

Yes, it is designed for standard doorways. For wider openings or doors with unusual dimensions, you may need to use multiple curtains or consider alternative solutions.
No, the curtain is sold individually and does not include hanging hardware such as rods or tracks. These must be purchased separately.
The curtain offers good blackout capabilities due to its fleece interlining and poly cotton lining, significantly reducing light penetration. However, complete darkness may depend on the fit and surrounding light sources.
While the poly cotton lining offers some durability, it's best suited for general living areas. For very humid environments, monitor for moisture buildup.
No, matching draught excluders are available and sold separately. They are recommended for enhanced thermal performance.
The velvet chenille fabric is luxuriously soft and plush to the touch, offering a rich and elegant feel.
This product is sold individually, meaning one curtain is included per purchase.
Ensure the curtain rod is level and securely mounted. Allow the curtain to hang for a few days to let creases fall out. Light ironing may help.
Check for gaps around the edges of the door. Ensure the curtain is hung correctly to cover the entire opening. Consider purchasing matching draught excluders for a complete seal.
Ensure you are using a mild detergent and a gentle wash cycle. Always line dry and avoid direct sunlight, which can fade colours. Light ironing may restore some lustre.
Setup: This door curtain is designed for straightforward installation. Ensure you have a suitable curtain rod or track that can support the weight of the curtain. Hang the curtain securely, allowing it to fall without dragging excessively on the floor.
Compatibility: While designed primarily for doorways, this curtain can also be used over windows or as a room divider. It is compatible with standard curtain rods.
