Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting Started:
Using your Dior Miss Dior Eau De Parfum is straightforward.
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the bottle from its packaging.
- First Use: Remove the cap. The first few pumps may prime the atomizer; spray into the air a couple of times until a fine mist appears.
Application & Compatibility:
- Direct Application: Spray directly onto skin, preferably pulse points (wrists, neck, behind ears, inner elbows) from a distance of 5-7 inches.
- No Compatibility Issues: Perfumes are generally not "compatible" or "incompatible" with other products in terms of function, but be mindful that other strongly scented lotions or body washes may alter the fragrance's intended profile. For best results, use unscented body care products or those from the Miss Dior range.
- Skin Types: Suitable for all adult skin types. If you have sensitive skin, it's advisable to perform a patch test on a small area first.
Care and Storage to Preserve Fragrance Quality:
Proper storage is crucial to maintaining the integrity and longevity of your perfume's scent.
- Store in a Cool, Dark Place: Heat, light, and humidity are the enemies of fragrance. Keep your bottle away from direct sunlight, windowsills, and warm bathrooms. A dresser drawer or closet shelf is ideal.
- Maintain Consistent Temperature: Avoid storing perfume in areas with extreme temperature fluctuations, such as near radiators or in your car, as this can degrade the fragrance notes.
- Keep the Cap On: Always replace the cap tightly after each use to prevent evaporation and oxidation, which can alter the scent.
- Keep Upright: Store the bottle in an upright position to prevent leakage and ensure the atomizer mechanism remains intact.
- Avoid Shaking: There is no need to shake your perfume bottle. Excessive shaking can introduce air, which contributes to oxidation.
