The Chukka Nellie is a rugged, durable and waterproof boot. They feature a padded collar for a comfortable fit around the ankle, a removable anti-fatigue footbed, a specially designed steel shank for added arch support, and a serrated rubber outsole for unmatched grip and traction. Waterproof Footwear Our waterproof footwear incorporates a variety of water-repellent materials, treatments and waterproofing processes. The waterproof leather is sealed as part of the tanning process. The footwear is then sealed with stitching or a waterproof, breathable membrane to help keep feet dry. The tongues and zips are treated with durable, water-resistant coatings, and integrated reinforcements are used to further prevent water ingress. ReBOTL™ Material The ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland garment designs contains a minimum of 40% recycled PET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate, the material from which plastic bottles are made). ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland footwear and accessories contains a minimum of 50% recycled PET (excluding traces of other materials).
