The Squire Vulcan 40mm combination padlock is designed for homeowners and professionals seeking a reliable, keyless security solution for sheds, garages, and toolboxes. It offers the benefit of a highly durable, corrosion-resistant build with a customizable 10,000-combination code mechanism, though its 40mm size may be less suitable for heavy-duty gates requiring a larger shackle clearance.

No, if the code is lost or forgotten, there is no master override, making it impossible to reset the lock.

No, this is a dedicated combination padlock and does not utilize a key.
The shackle is made from high-strength boron alloy, chosen for its resistance to cutting and corrosion.
This product is covered by a 10-year manufacturer guarantee.
Verify that all digits are perfectly aligned in the center of the indicator window and re-enter the code slowly.
Clean the dial area with a soft brush to remove accumulated debris and apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant.
To set your personal code, follow the specific recoding instructions provided on the packaging by manipulating the internal shackle mechanism. Ensure the lock is compatible with your application by measuring the hasp or chain diameter against the 40mm shackle opening. For care, avoid using heavy lubricants like grease inside the combination wheels, as these can attract dirt; instead, use a light silicone-based spray if the mechanism feels stiff. Regularly wipe the exterior die-cast body with a dry cloth to maintain its finish and ensure the dials remain clear of grit.
