Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your Puma Carina 3.0 Trainers is straightforward:
- Loosen the lace closure sufficiently to comfortably slide your foot into the shoe.
- Adjust the laces, pulling them evenly from the toe towards the ankle, until you achieve a snug yet comfortable fit.
- Tie a secure knot, or double-knot for added security, ensuring the laces will not come undone during activity.
Compatibility
These trainers are specifically recommended for PUMA Youth, targeting older children between 8 and 16 years of age. Their classic white, tennis-inspired design makes them highly compatible with a wide array of casual clothing styles. They are ideal for daily wear, school, social gatherings, and other casual activities where comfort and style are desired.
Care
Proper care will help maintain the appearance and extend the life of your Carina 3.0 Trainers:
- Uppers (Leather & Synthetic): Gently wipe away dirt and grime with a soft, damp cloth. For more persistent stains, use a mild shoe cleaner specifically formulated for leather and synthetic materials. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes, as these can damage the material.
- Textile Lining/Insole: To prevent odors, allow the shoes to air out regularly. If necessary, the textile lining can be gently cleaned with a damp cloth and a very mild soap. Do not machine wash or submerge the shoes in water.
- Rubber Midsole & Outsole: Clean with a damp cloth or a soft brush to remove dirt and maintain traction. A small amount of mild soap can be used for stubborn marks.
- Drying: Always air dry your trainers away from direct heat sources (like radiators or direct sunlight), as excessive heat can cause materials to warp, crack, or discolour.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place, ideally in their original box or a shoe bag, to protect them from dust and maintain their shape.
