Rustins Quick Dry Varnish - Dark Oak - 500ml - Brown

This varnish is suitable for interior bare woodwork, cork, hardboard, and as a sealer for concrete, brickwork, and plaster. For floors, use Rustin’s Quick Dry Floor Varnish.

For most projects, two or three coats are recommended for optimal protection and appearance. Allow the recommended drying time between coats.

The varnish is touch dry in approximately 20 minutes and can be recoated in 2 hours.

Clean brushes with water immediately after use.

Coverage is approximately 12-15m² per liter per coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface.

It has very little effect on the color of the wood. The dark oak finish will provide a slight color enhancement.

Ensure the room temperature is adequate (above 10°C). Check for excessive humidity. Ensure the surface is clean and free of contaminants before application. Apply a thin coat and allow for proper drying time.

Prepare the surface properly by sanding lightly between coats and removing any dust. Apply even coats with a quality brush.

Use a high-quality brush and apply the varnish evenly. Lightly sand between coats to smooth out any imperfections.
