Fiddes Premier Wood Varnish is a water-based Polyurethane/Acrylic finish, ideal for the surface treatment of wood floors, furniture, internal joinery, and worktops. This quick-drying varnish offers excellent durability and a non-yellowing formula, making it perfect for domestic use. For best results, stir the varnish well before use and apply thinly along the wood grain using a synthetic bristle brush in a well-ventilated area. Allow to dry for 2-3 hours before applying a second coat thinly along the wood grain. A maximum of 2 coats is recommended, unless applying to softwood where a third may be required. Always ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and that any cracks or holes are properly filled first. This varnish provides a high standard of resistance and protection.
