Ensure all care instructions are followed, particularly regarding detergent and rinsing. If performance degrades over time, consider applying a DWR treatment.

Gently clean the zipper teeth with a soft brush and mild soap. Lubricate with a graphite pencil or a specialized zipper lubricant.

This often indicates the DWR treatment has worn off. Wash the jacket according to care instructions and then apply a new DWR spray or wash-in treatment.

Avoid high heat drying and harsh detergents. If significant degradation has occurred, it may be difficult to repair.
