Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Nike Phantom 6 Academy Low TF requires no special setup. Upon receiving the boots, it is recommended to try them on indoors to ensure a comfortable fit. The new frame is designed to accommodate various foot types, especially in the toe box, but individual fit can vary.
Compatibility: These boots are specifically designed for use on turf (TF) surfaces, such as artificial grass or hard, natural grass pitches. They are not recommended for firm ground (FG), soft ground (SG), or indoor (IC) surfaces, as the outsole configuration may not provide optimal performance or could lead to premature wear.
Care: To maintain the performance and longevity of your Nike Phantom 6 boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove excess dirt and mud using a soft brush or a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Never place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, preferably in a boot bag, to protect them from dust and moisture. Ensure they are clean and dry before storage.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the studs for wear and tear. Ensure laces are tied correctly to maintain the intended fit and support.
