Absolutely. While designed for King Size, it can be used on a Queen size bed to provide an oversized, luxurious drape, functioning well as a bedspread or extra layer.
Due to its high-quality polyester fleece construction, shedding is generally minimal. Following the recommended care instructions will help prevent pilling and maintain its integrity.
Ensure you are strictly following the care instructions: machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle, and tumble dry on low heat. High heat can damage polyester fibers. You may also try adding a small amount of liquid fabric softener to the rinse cycle.
Pilling can occur with synthetic fabrics, often due to friction. To minimize, always wash the blanket separately. If pilling occurs, a fabric shaver or lint remover can be used carefully to restore the blanket's smooth appearance.
Static is a common characteristic of fleece materials. To reduce static, use a dryer sheet when tumble drying, or add a quarter cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle during washing. You can also lightly spray the blanket with an anti-static spray.
This is often a residual smell from manufacturing and packaging. A single wash following the care instructions (cold water, gentle cycle) should effectively remove any initial odors.
Setup
Simply remove the blanket from its packaging and unfold it. For optimal initial fluffiness and to remove any packaging odors, it's recommended to wash the blanket once according to the care instructions before its first use.
Compatibility
This King Size blanket, measuring 200cm x 240cm, is designed to be compatible with king-size beds, large queen-size beds, and most generously sized sofas or sectionals.
