Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Connect the included USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable (or use the USB-A to USB-C adapter if needed) to the microphone's USB-C port and your computer's USB port.
- The microphone is plug-and-play, so your operating system should automatically detect it. The indicator ring will light up blue, indicating it has power.
- Connect your headphones to the 3.5mm headphone jack on the microphone.
- Adjust the volume for the headphone jack and the mix control using the rotary dial on the microphone.
- Position the microphone using the included desk stand, ensuring it's stable.
Compatibility:
The AT2020USB-X is compatible with Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows 11, and macOS. It works with most recording software (DAWs) and streaming applications that support USB audio devices.
Care:
- Keep the microphone away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
- Clean the microphone exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquids or solvents.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the microphone, as this will void the warranty.
- Store the microphone in a safe place when not in use, ideally in its original packaging or a protective case.
