The Regatta Hamara IV Waterproof Jacket has a waterproof rating of 10000mm and a breathability rating of 10000g/m²/24hrs.

This jacket is designed for waterproof and windproof protection. For cold weather, it is recommended to layer an insulating piece, such as a fleece or puffer jacket, underneath.

The jacket can be machine washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle using a special liquid detergent for technical fabrics. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron.

A DWR finish is a coating applied to the outer fabric that makes water bead up and roll off, helping to keep the jacket dry and the fabric from 'wetting out'.

It is recommended to re-apply DWR treatment when you notice that water is no longer beading on the surface of the fabric, typically after several washes or significant wear.

The jacket features one inner pocket and two side zip pockets for convenient and secure storage.

While offering good protection for general outdoor activities, for extreme conditions, a jacket with a higher waterproof and breathability rating might be more suitable. This jacket is excellent for hiking, trekking, and daily wear in wet weather.

The Durable Water-Repellent (DWR) finish may need to be reapplied. Follow the care instructions for re-treating the fabric.

Ensure the fabric around the zipper is clear. Gently try to move the zipper up and down. Apply a small amount of wax or silicone lubricant to the zipper teeth if necessary.

Check that the cord and toggles are clean and free from debris. Ensure the cord is fully threaded through the toggles and tightened securely.

This could be due to high perspiration levels. Ensure all vents are open and consider wearing moisture-wicking base layers. The jacket's breathability is effective but can be overwhelmed by extreme exertion in humid conditions.
