The Marlow Blackout Curtains in Green are designed for homeowners seeking a combination of light control and thermal regulation without chemical coatings. These curtains are perfect for nurseries, bedrooms, and home offices, offering a luxurious feel that enhances both comfort and energy efficiency. While they provide excellent insulation and light blocking, it is important to note that they block 70% to 85% of light, meaning they may not achieve total darkness compared to heavy-duty industrial liners.

The curtains are made from 280gsm thick fabric.
Ensure the curtains are wide enough to cover the window frame completely; light leakage often occurs at the sides or top.
Use a handheld steamer on a low setting or hang them up; the weight of the fabric will often pull out minor creases over a few days.
Check if the curtain rod is level and ensure the eyelets are not caught on the rod joints or finials.
Installation is straightforward due to the integrated rust-resistant eyelets; simply slide your existing curtain rod through the rings. Ensure your curtain rod diameter is compatible with the eyelet size for smooth gliding. For care, keep the curtains clean by machine washing on a cold, gentle cycle. Avoid using bleach, which can damage the fabric fibers and color. When drying, use a low-heat tumble dry setting to maintain the integrity of the thermal insulation. Regular dusting or vacuuming with a soft brush attachment can help keep the fabric looking fresh between deeper cleanings.
