Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Gabor Lake boots, start by ensuring the fit is correct with your preferred socks. If you intend to use custom orthotics, remove the factory insoles before inserting your own to ensure the volume of the boot remains comfortable. For care, use a soft, dry cloth to remove surface dirt after each wear. Given the leather construction, it is recommended to apply a leather conditioner periodically to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Avoid submerging the boots in water; if they become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the leather to stiffen.
