The Melrose County Flatweave Rug is an ideal solution for homeowners seeking a practical and durable floor covering for high-traffic areas. Designed for modern living, this machine-woven rug provides essential utility through its anti-slip gel backing, ensuring stability on various floor types. While its flatweave design makes it exceptionally easy to maintain, users should note that the low-profile pile is best suited for decorative and functional floor protection rather than plush, cushioned comfort.

Yes, the gel backing is generally safe for hardwood and laminate floors, but it is always recommended to ensure the floor is clean before laying it down.
This rug is designed to be easy-care, but machine washing is not recommended; spot cleaning with a damp cloth is the preferred method for maintenance.
Yes, the Flatweave Collection is available in Grey and Beige, in addition to the Black finish.
The rug features a machine-woven flatweave construction designed for high durability and daily household traffic.
The anti-slip gel backing is specifically designed for hard floors. Its effectiveness on carpet may be reduced.
Lay the rug flat and place heavy books or furniture on the corners for 24 hours to help the material relax.
Ensure the floor surface is clean and free of dust or debris before placing the rug, as the gel backing relies on contact with a clean, smooth surface.
Use a gentle upholstery cleaner specifically designed for synthetic rugs, and always test on a small, inconspicuous area first.
Setup is simple: unroll the rug on a flat, clean surface. The gel backing will naturally grip the floor; if the edges are curled from packaging, lay a weight on the corners for a few hours to flatten them completely. This rug is compatible with most hard floor surfaces, including tile, laminate, and hardwood. For care, regular vacuuming is recommended to remove loose debris. Because the pile is flat and woven, spot clean any spills immediately with a damp, clean cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive water, which could compromise the adhesive backing.
