Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced securely but comfortably from the toe box to the ankle, utilizing the lace closure system.
- Tongue Adjustment: The unique foldover tongue with its strap should be positioned to create a clean, unobstructed striking surface over the laces. Adjust for personal comfort and optimal ball contact.
- Collar Fit: The adidas Primeknit collar is designed to adapt to your ankle's shape. Allow a moment for it to settle, providing a snug yet flexible fit.
Compatibility
These adidas Predator Elite Tongue FG boots are specifically engineered for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This includes natural grass fields that are relatively dry and firm. Using them on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces may compromise performance, durability, and could lead to injury. Always match your boot type to the playing surface.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off dirt and debris with a damp cloth. For more stubborn grime, use a soft brush and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing, as these can damage the materials.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can cause the materials to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb excess moisture.
- Soleplate Lacquer: Please note, the lacquer finish on the bottom of this boot may wear off during play. This is a cosmetic effect and will not affect the performance or durability of the product.
