Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The HOMCOM Nursing Rocking Chair typically requires minimal assembly. This usually involves attaching the steel legs to the seat base and securing the curved wooden rockers to the legs. All necessary hardware and instructions should be included. We recommend assembling the chair in its intended location or an open space with sufficient room.
Compatibility
This rocking chair's neutral beige color and classic design make it highly compatible with various interior decor styles, from modern to traditional. While often chosen for nurseries, its versatility allows it to seamlessly fit into living rooms, bedrooms, or studies as a comfortable accent piece. Ensure you have adequate floor space for its dimensions (71W x 92D x 101Hcm) to allow for comfortable rocking motion.
Care
To maintain the comfort and appearance of your fleecy upholstery, follow these care guidelines:
- Regular Cleaning: Gently vacuum the upholstery regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and loose debris.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills or stains, immediately blot the affected area with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild fabric cleaner diluted with water. Apply a small amount to a clean cloth and gently dab the stain, working from the outside in. Avoid saturating the fabric.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong detergents, bleach, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric.
- Protect from Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade the upholstery. Position the chair away from direct sun or use curtains/blinds.
- Inspect Hardware: Periodically check and tighten any loose bolts or screws to ensure the chair remains stable and safe.
