This guide is for homeowners looking for a durable and flexible shower curtain rail. The Croydex Shower Rail offers a lightweight yet strong aluminium system with a unique PVC core that allows for custom bending, ensuring a perfect fit for any shower space. A potential caveat is the recommendation to use ceiling supports for optimal stability, especially with longer installations. Key features include its bendable design, smooth gliding hooks, and included accessories.

The rail is designed to be bent, not cut. Cutting the aluminium rail may compromise its structural integrity and the function of the internal glider system. It is best to bend it to fit your space.
The rail is made of anodised aluminium with a flexible PVC core.
The rail is supplied with 12 hooks and gliders.
Ceiling supports are recommended, especially for longer installations or heavier curtains, to ensure optimal stability and prevent sagging. They are not always mandatory but are highly advisable for best performance.
Yes, it can be installed as a straight rail. However, its unique bending capability is most advantageous in non-standard or curved shower spaces.
You will typically need a drill, appropriate drill bits for your wall type, a screwdriver, and a measuring tape. Wall fixings (screws and wall plugs) are not included and should be chosen based on your wall material.
While the rail can be bent, repeatedly bending it back and forth in the same spot may weaken the material. It is best to bend it carefully to your desired final shape.
Ensure the internal gliders are clean and free from debris. Check that the rail is not bent too sharply at any point, which could impede movement.
Install the recommended ceiling support(s). Ensure wall brackets are securely fastened to the wall.
Apply gentle, steady pressure. The rigid 'H' section helps maintain the shape once bent. If significant force is required, double-check that you are bending the rail correctly and not distorting the 'H' profile.
Verify that you are using the provided hooks and gliders specifically designed for this rail system. Ensure they are oriented correctly before sliding them onto the rail.
