Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, measure your pipe diameter carefully to ensure a snug fit. Clean the pipe surface to remove grease or debris before application. If you need to cut the material, use a sharp, thin-bladed knife to avoid tearing the foam. When bonding the longitudinal seams or butt joints, use the manufacturer-approved Armaflex adhesive to ensure a vapour-tight seal. The material is compatible with most standard copper and steel plumbing systems. For long-term care, simply wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth; the Microban protection is built into the material and does not require special cleaning agents to remain effective.
