Troubleshooting

Bed frame squeaks or creaks

Check that all bolts and screws are fully tightened. Sometimes, slight movement between parts can cause noise. Ensure the mattress is sitting correctly on the support system.

Difficulty aligning parts during assembly

Ensure you are using the correct parts for each step as per the manual. Loosen slightly any connections that seem misaligned, then re-tighten once everything is in place. Avoid forcing parts together.

Fabric appears stretched or uneven

This may occur during transit or assembly. Gently try to smooth the fabric by hand. If the issue persists and is significant, contact customer support as it might indicate a manufacturing defect.

Mattress does not fit securely

Verify that you have ordered the correct bed frame size for your mattress. Ensure the mattress is the standard size for the specified bed frame dimensions.

  • Provides a sturdy and reliable sleep surface.

Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The California Naples Bed Frame is designed for ease of assembly. Follow the provided instructions carefully, typically involving attaching the side rails to the headboard and footboard, and then inserting the mattress support system (e.g., slats or a solid base). Ensure all fixings are tightened securely but avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the upholstery or frame.

Compatibility: This bed frame is compatible with standard mattress sizes. Ensure you select the correct bed frame size (e.g., 4FT6 Double) that matches your mattress size. The frame is designed to accommodate most standard mattress depths, but always check specific recommendations if using an unusually thick or thin mattress.

Care: To maintain the appearance of the upholstered frame, regularly dust with a soft, dry cloth. For minor spills or stains on fabric variants like Naples or Plush Velvet, use a clean, damp cloth and blot the area gently. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For deep cleaning, professional upholstery cleaning is recommended. Periodically check that all screws and fittings remain tight.
